Sole Engineer in Spain

Summary

New vacancy for an experienced, well presented Sole Engineer holding an MEOL with only two tickets left to do. Preferably with a Y4 licence or equivalent to start in two weeks time - 20th November 2025. This is not a rotational position. 

Private and looking to go charter. Survey in progress. Malta flagged.

Benetti - 2011 build. Engine room is in good condition. 

Powered by twin MTU engines. Kohler generators. 8m tender with Honda outboard engine.

Must be proficient with workshop and handyman skills. 

Single season. Mediterranean based boat. 

Professional crew of 7. Awesome chef onboard.

British owner - usage 8 to 10 weeks.

11x guests and 5x cabins.

Salary: 7000 - 8000 Euros per month depending on experience. 

Vacation: 45 - 60 days with one paid flight to anywhere. 

All licences and ENG1 up-to-date and must be fluent in English. 

Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
