Bosun in Netherlands

Summary

We are now recruiting for a permanent Bosun to join a 55m+ Private M/Y | Start Date: November

This is a 90% Deck role, ideal for a strong and motivated individual to lead and support the deck team while also holding bridge watch responsibilities and manoeuvres. It presents a great opportunity for an experienced Bosun or Lead Deckhand holding or working towards the OOW <3000GT.

Requirements:

• OOW <3000GT or near completion. Yacht Master (essential)
• Strong tender driving and watersports experience. PWC license (essential)
• Proven leadership on deck and a proactive work ethic
• Strong maintenance and repairs experience (Paint Awlgrip, varnish, teak, caulking...)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Electronic Chart Display (ECDIS)

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)
