We are seeking an experienced Sole Chef to join our newly built private/charter yacht while our permanent chef is on leave. The vessel has recently arrived in the US from the Med and is preparing for the owner’s upcoming Thanksgiving trip to the Bahamas.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong yachting experience or high-end shore-based culinary background
- Excellent organization and provisioning skills — able to plan, resupply, and prepare the galley for the season ahead
- A focus on healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented meals for both guests and crew
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset — we have a great crew onboard and are looking for someone who can fit in seamlessly
Requirements:
- Valid STCW and ENG1 (or equivalent)
- Culinary training or relevant professional background
- Available for the full coverage period
- Local to the US preferred (for ease of logistics and quick start)
- RMI discharge book advantageous
