We are seeking an experienced and confident Lead Housekeeper to join the interior team of seven onboard a prestigious 74m private/charter yacht. This is a key leadership role, responsible for maintaining the highest standards across all guest and crew areas, while managing and motivating the housekeeping and laundry team.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach, with a genuine passion for service and team development. You will oversee all housekeeping operations, including stock control, inventories, cleaning schedules, and back-of-house management.
A large part of this role involves wardrobe and luggage management, working closely with the principal’s stylist and wardrobe manager. You’ll ensure guest preferences and cabin set-ups are meticulously maintained, and that the department runs smoothly at all times.
We are looking for someone calm, patient, and approachable, who leads by example and enjoys training others. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with previous experience in a similar role on large yachts who’s ready to take ownership of a well-established department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Housekeeper on 60m+ yachts
- Excellent organisational and delegation skills
- Confident with inventories, ordering, and SOP creation
- Strong wardrobe and fabric care knowledge
- Discreet, proactive, and team-oriented
