Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Second Officer to join the crew of a 55m private motor yacht, newly constructed and currently based in France.
This role involves supporting the Chief Officer in maintaining safe and efficient operations on deck while ensuring adherence to maritime regulations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of an Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate and at least two years of experience on a similar-sized vessel.
The deck team will include the Chief Officer, Second Officer, Bosun, and two deckhands, working collaboratively to uphold high standards of safety and service.
The position offers a competitive monthly salary of EUR 5,000 per month along with 42 days of leave. Applicants must be available to join the vessel in France as soon as possible and possess a suitable passport for entry into the EU or Schengen visa in hand. South African nationals preferred.
