Summary
We are currently seeking a Permanent Female Bosun to join a 50m Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yacht, ensuring that all deck duties are performed with utmost professionalism and attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior areas of the yacht, assisting with mooring, and providing support to the senior crew members to deliver an exceptional experience to guests. The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for the maritime industry.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bosun on vessels 40m+ or Lead Deckhand on vessels 60m+ is essential
- Jet driving and twin prop for larger chase boats
- Good eyes for detail
- Capable of teaching less experienced crew, responsible for a team of 3
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards within the yachting industry
- Ability to maintain and care for all deck equipment and facilities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with mooring procedures and anchoring techniques
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying conditions
- STCW and ENG1
- Yacht Master Offshore
Package:
- Salary: €4,500 pcm
- Leave: 50 days leave per year
