Chief Engineer position aboard Private 50m+ M/Y
This Sydney based yacht is seeking a well-rounded and knowledgeable Chief Engineer to join their program. Live ashore or aboard options available.

Start Date: November, 2025
Itinerary: Sydney Based
Package: Salary paid in AUD, plus Superannuation – 4 weeks leave and days in lieu
Experience and Attributes Required:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on board 40m+ Yachts in similar role
• Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills
• Experience with MTU Engines would be beneficial
• Must be a hands on and proactive engineer
• Attention to detail
• Professional appearance
Qualifications Required:
• Y3 – or AMSA equivalent (preferred)
• MTU training certificate (preferred)
• STCW BST (fully up-dated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months' validity)
