Job Description:
We are looking for a relief ETO to join a 70m+ private MY in the Middle East. The ideal candidate is someone skilled on ENEM (Electronic Navigation Equipment Maintenance) and GMDSS Maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of electrical equipment on board; ensuring all equipment is in a state of readiness for safe and efficient operation. As well as being responsible for the day-to-day running of the machinery and equipment in accordance with the Chief Engineers requests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems onboard.
- Conduct regular inspections and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with any technical issues that may arise during the charter.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years+ sailing experience as Electrician/ETO on Yachts or Commercial vessel
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
