WYR are currently looking for a strong experienced sailing yacht Deckhand to join them asap. Only candidates with strong sailing experience on larger sailing yachts will be considered, rather than motor yacht experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years sailing experience, and be capable in all areas out on deck along with good product knowledge. You will also require your Yachtmaster sail qualification, and have solid tender driving experience. The clients are looking for someone looking to stick around for a very long time to come rather than someone who likes to boat hop. The vessel will be going into La Ciotat shipyard for 18 months, so someone who is happy with yard life for the next couple of years will be prioritised. The captain is fully aware that 18 months is a long time for some crew, but promises an amazing position if loyalty is shown that will take you to some amazing destinations. Shipwrights with solid experience are also very welcomed. No couple applicants please. Good luck.
