Summary

Bosun / Tender Captain 53 FT HCB

The BOSUN / Tender captain, (53 ft HCB) Will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and safe operation of the chase boat under the guidance of the Captain, Chief officer, Chief Engineer, .

In addition to the responsibilities of the chase boat the tender captain will also be called upon to assist others in various tasks onboard, Namely on Deck as the bosun and in the Engineering department assisting the Chief engineer with daily maintenance tasks, repairs and overall upkeep of the vessel. You will be required to be a watch leader during passanges and are concidered a senior part of our team.

This is a great opertunity to develop you skills on Deck as well as be credited for a Bosun and Captains title. You will learn how a well managed yacht operates in a drama free environment.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Coastal Skipper
• RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper
• MCA Navigational Watch Rating (NWR) Certificate
• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate
• MCA Able Seafarer Deck Certificate
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
• RYA Start Yachting
• RYA Competent Crew
• RYA Day Skipper

RYA/MCA Deck Modules (OR Short Courses & equivalent)

• MCA Training Record Book (TRB)
• Navigation & Radar (OOW Yachts)
