Seeking Chief officer for 36m 483GT Motor Cat based in Phuket Thailand. 

• Private/Charter (PYLC)

• OOW 500 / OOW 3000. Ticket essential. Don't apply without Min OOW 500.

• Light Usage from great owners

• Mixed Nationality easy going Crew that all enjoy a good laugh

• Majority bridge position but expected to still get outside and help the boys on deck when required

The vessel is in many respects equivalent to a 55 - 60m monohull. C/O expected to maintain ISM and Flag compliance, records, safety and drills and also get hands on with the deck crew especially during owners trips and charters.

Solid crew. Easy going but professional no nonsense culture.

Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• GMDSS General Operators Certificate (GOC)
• Electronic Chart Display (ECDIS)
• Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
• Proficiency in Medical First Aid (A-VI/4 1-3)
• Efficient Deckhand (EDH)
• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) (A-VI/2 1-4)

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
