Seeking Chief Engineer for 36m 483GT Motor Cat based in Phuket Thailand. 

• Private/Charter (PYLC)

• Min ticket Engine Rating/MEOL. Y4 or above preferred.

• Light Usage from great owners

• Mixed Nationality easy going Crew that all enjoy a good laugh

• Sole engineer position with assistance from deck department

The vessel is in many respects equivalent to a 55 - 60m monohull. C/E required for all routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, compliance and recording keeping. Expected to assist on deck during owners trips and charters.

Solid crew. Easy going but professional no nonsense culture. 

Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
• MCA Engine Watch Rating Certificate

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) (A-VI/2 1-4)
• Human, Element, Leadership & Management (Operational)
• Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
