Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook/Crew Chef to join the team on a 37m motor yacht based in Mexico. This temporary position involves preparing nutritious and appealing meals for the crew while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the galley. The ideal candidate will have experience in a maritime environment, demonstrating proficiency in menu planning, food safety, and inventory management. You will be responsible for catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences, ensuring all meals are prepared in a timely manner. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
The program is heavy into diving so a cook with diving interests would be a great match.
If an owner trip happens during your employment you will be required to help out on deck as well as support head chef who only will be onboard for the owners trips.
Candidates should possess a valid STCW certification and relevant culinary qualifications, along with a passion for cooking in a dynamic setting.
Start 27/28th October - End 8th December
