Deckhand – 90m Sailing Yacht
We are seeking a deckhand to join a large sailing yacht during her refit period in Hamburg ahead of relaunch in April 2026.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical skills and a background in sailing.
The role will initially focus on storage, organisation, and yard-based projects through the winter, before transitioning into an operational deck position for the upcoming busy Med season.
Location: Hamburg, Germany (Winter Refit)
Start Date: ASAP
Itinerary: Winter 2025/26 – Hamburg / Summer 2026 – Mediterranean
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Industry Standard
Leave: 60 days per year
Nationality: Preference for UK, Kiwi, or Australian, though all qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements
- Trade or practical background (e.g. builder, mechanic, electrician, painter) highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to be guest-facing when required
- Positive, team-oriented, sporty, and social personality
