2nd Officer

Summary

• 60m Private Dual season Motor yacht are looking for a 2^nd officer to join them 1^st December

• This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run yacht with an established senior team, supportive chief officers and Captains

• They are looking for an officer who is a recently qualified OOW or with 1 season as an officer on similar size yachts. The more bridge experience the better!

• Must have strong tender driving experience on large tenders as you will be driving a large chase boat with guests from the get go!

• Lovely owners who use the yacht steadily over both Seasons with plenty of sea time accumulated over the Summer

• The yacht will winter in France this year for a yard period but typically runs a Med/Caribbean program

• The position has opened due to organic growth onboard the yacht and internal promotions from within

• The role will be a 60/40 split of bridge and deck work. They want someone who will lead by example but is also keen to gain good bridge exposure and oversee passage planning and holding navigational watches

• On offer is a package of 5500+ Euros DOE along with time for time rotation (10 weeks on/off) 13^th month bonus & training allowance/budget for courses

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
