Galley Hand – 100+m Private Motor Yacht
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout all galley and related service areas, including deep cleaning of equipment, surfaces, and storage zones.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation, ingredient organisation, and stock rotation as directed.
- Maintain exceptional organisation of stores, fridges, and dry provisions, ensuring efficient access and accurate labelling.
- Assist in waste management, dishwashing, and sanitation routines, ensuring all items are cleaned, polished, and stored correctly.
- Respond promptly to the needs of the chefs during service, demonstrating initiative, discretion, and reliability.
- Uphold the yacht’s high standards of professionalism, presentation, and confidentiality at all times.
Profile:
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, cruise, or yacht environment preferred
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining the utmost standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to assist wherever required
Conditions:
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 3400 EUR
Leave entitlement: 90 days per calendar year
Accommodation: shared cabin
2 return flight tickets per calendar year in economy class
Commencement date: TBC (around end October)
