Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook/Steward(ess)/Deckhand as part of a Team/Couple, for a 24m sailing yacht based in France, with a focus on the Mediterranean cruising itinerary.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of sailing experience and possess relevant certifications, including VHF, Powerboat 2, and MCA Food & Hygiene.
Responsibilities will include
- Assistance when sailing, mooring, watchkeeping etc
- Interiors maintenance, cleaning, washing, procurement to high standards
- Yummy cooking
- Systematic preventive maintenance for interiors/household appliances
- Cost awareness and management in interiors & provisioning
- Personal chemistry with captain, owner & guests
- English, any additional language great asset
- Appreciating privacy
- Strict confidentiality
Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to ensure harmonious relationships with the owner, captain, and guests while respecting privacy and confidentiality.
Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages would be an asset.
This permanent position involves working on a private yacht for a Swiss owner, who has no children and no pets, who is keen on watersports and leads a healthy lifestyle
