Position: Bosun
Vessel: 60m Private & Charter Yacht (excellent crew, very nice owner)
Location: France
Crew: 12 total – Deck team: 2 Deckhands, Bosun, Chief Officer
Itinerary: Western Med for the summer (SoF, Italy, Spain)
Package
- Salary: €4,000–€4,500 DOE
- Leave: 38 days per year; increases to 60 days after completing a 3-month probation
- Bonus: Annual bonus (details provided during interview)
- Training: Courses supported and encouraged; approved on a case-by-case basis
- Registration: Commercially registered vessel – full ISM, ISPS, MLC compliance
Minimum Qualifications
- STCW
- ENG1
- DSD
- Yacht Rating
- Yachtmaster Offshore
- PWCI (advantageous)
Candidate Profile
Open to male or female candidates who are fit, active, positive, and eager to learn. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and the ability to integrate well into a close-knit crew.
Additional Attributes:
- Well-rounded deck skills
- Charter experience
- Confident running watersports
- Strong tender-driving skills
- Any trade skills (e.g., carpentry) are a bonus
