Summary
Seeking a First Mate to join a 40m M/Y Private/Charter. The vessel runs an active private/charter program (approx. 80:20 charter to private use), and the crew enjoys a positive team dynamic, exploring, exercising, and staying active together during their downtime. This is a hands-on deck role with additional bridge administration responsibilities (logbooks, drill reports, safety oversight), along with the possibility of drive time for the right candidate when time allows. This position is ideal for an active and outgoing individual who thrives on deck, enjoys being hands-on, and brings both seamanship and leadership to the team.

Compensation Package: Salary: $6,000 per month / Leave: 41 days per year
Skills & Attributes Required
- Experience leading deck operations and maintaining high safety standards
- Active, outgoing personality with a passion for the water and outdoor activities, strong tender driving experience essential
- Fishing experience highly preferred (integrated into both owner trips and charters)
- Professional presentation, organized, adaptable, and team-oriented
Qualifications Required
- STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
- YMO
- Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate
- Valid B1/B2 Visa
