Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the galley team aboard a 65m charter motor yacht. The vessel operates a busy dual-season program with high standards of cuisine and service, requiring creativity, organisation, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Requirements:
- Previous yachting experience as Sous Chef or Sole Chef on vessels 40m+ (restaurant background with proven fine dining may be considered)
- Strong culinary background with a focus on international cuisine
- Ability to manage provisioning, galley cleanliness and charter programs.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, working closely with the Head Chef
- Valid STCW, ENG1, and Food Hygiene Level 2+
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, guest service, and crew meals
- Delivering a consistently high standard of cuisine to guests and crew
- Supporting stock management and provisioning in remote locations
- Ensuring galley hygiene and safety standards are always upheld
