LAUNDRY STEWARDESS POSITION – 62 Meter, Private Winters in Caribbean and Summers in the Western Mediterranean

The Laundry Stewardess is a hard worker with a positive, can-do attitude that takes instruction well and has impeccable attention to detail. No detail is overlooked by a successful yacht stewardess. A friendly, professional character with guests is essential as is direction and maintenance of guest privacy.
The Laundry Stewardess will enthusiastically support the Captain, Chief Stewardess, Chief Officer and management structure as needed. They should be able to easily and professionally interact with owners and guests, providing excellent service in every aspect of their on-board experience.
This candidate will have one year of experience on a yacht or a very strong hospitality experience ashore.
Responsibilities:
- Care for all linens, uniforms, and both crew and guest wardrobes with attention and precision
- Keep wardrobes organized and ensure clothing is always presented to the highest standard
- Operate laundry equipment confidently, with care for delicate and specialty fabrics
- Work closely with the rest of the interior team to maintain pristine guest and crew areas
- Support interior operations including inventories, detailing, and provisioning
Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working with a professional laundry setup, either on board or in a high-standard private household
- A strong understanding of textile care and safe chemical use
- Great attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused mindset
- The ability to work independently and efficiently
- A valid B1/B2 visa and documents with validity for the term on contract
Other Requirements:
· Mature, serious types, well mannered
· Physically fit, nonsmokers. No electronic cigarette users
· No visible tattoos
· Personable and loyal, with an upbeat personality
· Must like small dogs, and children
· Polite, and respectful to crew, owner and Captain – Head Chef, Chief Stewardess, Chief Officer, and Chief Engineer
· Complete understanding and agreement as it relates to yachts philosophy and policies
· Longevity with good references
