Chief Officer/1st Mate in Spain

Summary

We are now recruiting for a permanent Chief Officer to join a 56m dual-season Private/Charter M/Y | Start Date: ASAP

Must have a OOW 3000gt in hand.

SSO, ECDIS (Furuno) & PWC insructor certificates benificial.

Must have solid experience as a Chief Officer on 45m+ vessels including charter experience.

Must be hands on and have good leadership skills.

Must be confident in the bridge, and have strong maintenance skills.

Good ISM/ISPS & MLC knowledge required.

Strong references, open to a background check.

Itinerary: Mediterranean, Caribbean & Costa Rica (.acific side)

Monthly Salary: To be discussed during interview stage (DOE)

Own cabin. Can be couple with a junior stewardess.

Captain open to give drive time to a trustworthy candidate

Start Date: ASAP

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
