CONTRACT: Full-time/ Permanent, Live aboard
We are currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Deck hand/ Mate for a 35m Private/Charter Motor Yacht based in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is a team player. Experience in the Med & Caribbean highly regarded.
Minimum Requirements:
- Yacht Master (or Equivalent) STCW & ENG 1
- PADI or SSI Dive Master advantageous (not a necessity)
- Previous Superyacht experience is a MUST!
- Strong tender and vessel handling skills essential
- Previous experience in a similar role, with strong references to back
- Proven longevity with strong reference to back
- Professional, energetic and proactive with a positive attitude
- Fishing experience is highly regarded
- Must be open to undergoing a criminal record check
The successful candidate will be a confident boat handler, capable of managing a deck with minimal supervision, and someone who leads by example. The vessel operates with a tight-knit crew, so a strong work ethic and respectful, team-oriented attitude are essential.
