Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 55m Single season Busy Private Motor yacht are seeking a First mate to join them within the next 2 weeks – start date 14^th September

• They are looking ideally for a OOW 3000 however would consider a very strong candidate close to OOW with ECDIS type specific completed

• Strong leadership experience and able to think outside the box and lead the deck team from the front

• Excellent Captain who is supportive and will allow you to oversee the operations and take charge of the team

• Must be confident holding your own watch and a strong navigator with good bridge skills

• Large tender driving/chase boat experience would be beneficial

• Finishing Med cruising with the owner in the coming weeks. Winter plans TBC but likely to be SOF based over the Winter Period

• This would work well for someone looking for a more stable Winter period with steady working hours and weekends off etc

• Salary 7000 Euros, 60 days leave – Full package TBD during initial calls 

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
