Deckhand/Mate – Private 30m S/Y
This is a fantastic opportunity aboard a high-performance 30m private sailing yacht – a modern full-carbon sloop cruising some of the most beautiful destinations in Italy. The yacht is seeking a versatile and motivated Deckhand/Mate to join a small, professional crew. Shared cabin with another female sailor.
Start date: ASAP - End of season
Itinerary: Italian Islands & Riviera
Package: Salary in Euros (DOE)
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 year’s experience on sailing superyachts in a similar role
• Strong sailing background, confident working aloft (up to 40m)
• Hands-on and proactive with the ability to follow instructions
• Organised, neat, and tidy with a strong eye for detail
• Positive attitude and passion for sailing
• Flexible all-rounder happy to work across deck and interior duties
• Must be currently based in Europe
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Minimum Yachtmaster Offshore
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
