Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a busy private/charter 60m+ yacht.
The candidate will be joining during a 7 month refit period over the winter season then back to a heavy charter season in the summer.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- C.Eng (III/2) over 3000 KW
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar sized vessels
- Refit experience
- B1/B2 Visa (preferred)
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: 10 September
Location: France
Salary: EUR 9500
Leave: 2:2 rotation
