Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Officer for a 65m yacht.
This position is ideal a motivated, safety-conscious candidate with a strong background in deck operations, as well as solid Bosun experience.
Requirements & Responsibilities
· OOW 3000
· Manage all aspects of deck operations while ensuring the highest level of service to guests.
· Work as part of the Navigational Bridge team
· Serve as onboard Safety Officer, responsible for LSA and FFE checks and services
· Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) equipment
· Train crew members on the proper use of deck and safety equipment
· Strong tender driver skills, with the ability to mentor junior crew
· Comprehensive knowledge of deck maintenance and various yacht systems
Start Date: End of September
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR TBC
Leave: 90 days
