Summary
We are seeking an experienced, talented/passionate culinary trained Chef for a busy 50m charter/private vessel.
(Permanent for the Caribbean season- possibly could turn rotation after for right candidate).
This is a sole Chef position-
Vessel has 5 charters plus an owner’s trip in Caribbean for the season so far (November-Jan).
Amazing, active, happy crew (11 in total) with two fantastic Captains that rotate. Exceptional US owners.
- Someone with no ego and is a true team player.
- Must be extremely clean, organized and NO DRAMA individuals, no prima donnas.
- Looking for commitment to the program long term.
- Excellent references, solid longevity.
-Nonsmoker/non vaper, with healthy habits.
- Must have loads of charter experience and know how to provision without always calling provisioners.
- The right candidate will get the vessel through the Caribbean and into the vessels 15-year survey in January 2026. If all works out well the option to go rotation going forward.
- Male preferred for cabin arrangements.
- Owner is passionate about food, so you need to be a true magician in the galley!
B1/B2 visa or US Passport/Green card, ENG1, STCW, Culinary degree, Ships cook certificate.
Start- Towards the end of October
Salary- $10,000-12,000pm dependent on experience and background-
Salary would be adjusted if rotation came into play down the track.
