Summary

Seeking a well presented (and personable) Chief Engineer for a beautiful, meticulously maintained 68m M/Y.

Y2/SV ticket or better.

Strengths needed in leadership, admin, project management, AV IT & especially Electrical. Contract is for 200 days/year, to cover travel and handover days. Rotations are typically 2 months, subject to vessel operations. 

Vessel completed an extensive yard period during the 5 year survey period, (full repaint, replacing the shore power convertors etc), to bring the vessel up to standard.

Two excellent Captains that have been on board since the owners purchased her.

Excellent crew retention onboard.

About the vessel:

  • Launched November 2018
  • 1403 GRT, Mains 2 x MTU 12V 4000 M93L
  • Private, Med/Caribbean
  • Running Manage My Vessel Software (Similar to Idea with all modules enabled), for all admin, planned maintenance, inventory, ISM, crew docs, hours of rest etc.
  • Run as though ISM, but technically Mini ISM
  • Owners are very pleasant and personable, and Chief's role has a reasonable amount of facetime, particularly for AV/IT
  • 2 Engineers (Chief & 2nd), with 3rd Engineer/Deck.

Salary~ $13k per month to start
