Summary
An exciting opportunity for an experienced 2nd Stewardess to join a private 60m+ motor yacht with a close-knit, friendly and active crew on board.
Ideal candidate would have 2-3 years in the yachting industry, with at least 1 year in a 2nd Stewardess role on vessels 45m+ with previous proven longevity. Must have good cocktail knowledge and be comfortable in front of guests as well as every aspect of the interior.
Wardrobe management experience is a plus as well as any hairdressing, beauty, yoga or Pilates experience but not mandatory for the role.
A bubbly and down to earth candidate who is also a team player and has an encouraging and supportive leadership style will do well in this role as you will be working closely with the Chief Stew in leading and guiding the more junior Stews in the team. Someone who would rather take the time and show the more junior Stews how to do things than do it themselves would be a good fit and strong asset to the team.
Duties will include:
Collaborating with the Chief Stew in maintaining the highest standards, ensuring all areas are impeccable while implementing internal manuals/checklists
Assisting the Chief Stew in managing the interior team and training/mentoring stews with a proactive & intuitive approach
Leading by example and being a team motivator as well as contribute to the positive & fun environment already onboard
Supporting the Chief Stew in inventory management as well as uniform and wardrobe
Cruising itinerary is New York, Martha's Vineyard, New England followed by the Caribbean early next year.
Salary DOE and will be discussed in the interview.
