Requirements:
STCW + refresher
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)
PNW and West Coast cruising experience
Other Requirements: Active, happy disposition.
Responsibilities: Captain and engineering maintenance. Warranty work experience
Needs to be able to be accountable and responsible.
Ideally with West Coats cruising experience.
Needs to know basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Oil changes, hydraulics basics, plumbing, the basics are good.
You will have shore support for charters and scheduled maintenance. They will help with parts, provisions, etc. and likely big relocation trips.
Need an active captain, hands on and help ensure safe operations for a West Coast Yacht, do the washes with crew, basic service and of course- know how to handle 120 ft in tidal areas. Facilitate fun things for the Owners and Guests to do. Trip planning.
OTHER: Owner will use for entertaining as well as charter.
It runs with 3 full time crew and a 4th (chef) as needed. - Captain/Engineer, Deck/mate, Stew and a freelance chef for charters and sometimes for owner. Once you establish the owner's use and needs, additional crew can be discussed.
Crew quarters: Crew cabins aft - queen on one side, bunks for other cabin. Two heads there, as well, full beam crew area, laundry up front and aft as well. There is also a stateroom off the Galley that can be used as a Capt cabin unless 5 cabin charters booked.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on your past experience and compensation.

Commercial Registered Yacht: Yes, will run private and charter. Over 200gt under 500gt
