Summary
Job Description: Chief Engineer --- This is NOT a rotational position and will be stationed in the Caribbean.
Position: Chief Engineer - Now open to Second Engineers also.
Vessel: 40 Meter Yacht
Salary: Euros TBA per month
Leave: 60 days annually
Location: Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all engineering systems aboard the yacht.
- Ensure compliance with RINA Commercial Rules & MCA LY3 regulations.
- Manage and supervise the engineering team, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the engines (2 × MTU 12V 4000 M93) and other machinery.
- Monitor fuel and fresh water capacities, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of engine performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Captain and other department heads to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Chief Engineer license (Yacht Engineer Certificate) as per STCW requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience on yachts over 30 meters, with at least 2 years as Chief Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of MTU engines and yacht engineering systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
