Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 45m Private/Charter single season Motor yacht are looking for Chief Officer to join them early October

• This is a well run, very busy yacht with extensive owner and charter usage across a single Med season with Winters spent in the South of France

• Home port in SOF over the Winter working Mon-Fri, 9-5pm – this would work well for a SOF based candidate or someone who is looking for a slower pace during the Winters with time to get courses completed etc

• They are looking for an established officer, happy to consider someone stepping up from 2^nd officer with a couple of years under their belt, or a mate from a similar size yacht. Must hold min OOW 3000

• Good captain, well established deck team. They need a good leader and someone who is hands on as well as being a good navigator and organised/dilligent with paperwork!

• Supportive Captain who is keen to give you drive time!

• They will be entering a yard period around March 2026 to ready the yacht for the Med Season

• On offer is a salary of 7500 Euros, 60 days leave, split of tips from any charters – full package TBD. 

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
