80+m Private/Charter M/Y is seeking an ETO / AV/IT Engineer to join their team, operating a dual-season itinerary between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
This is a rotational opportunity ideal for someone with a calm, team-focused demeanor who can contribute across all departments and maintain a strong IT infrastructure onboard. You’ll be joining a supportive and well-structured crew during a dynamic period including a shipyard period this fall. The Ideal Candidate will be a professional, proactive ETO who is adaptable and helpful across departments. Must be easy to get along with, dependable, and supportive of crew life. Excellent references both written and verbal required.

Shipyard: Oct–Nov (TBD)
Start Date: End of August (Around Aug 29)
Compensation Package: €8,000–€9,000 DOE / 8:8 Rotation / Shared Cabin
Skills & Attributes Required
- Calm under pressure, responsive, and a team player
- Confident managing onboard internet, cybersecurity, and IT systems
- Proficient with company computers, account management, subscriptions
- Skilled in basic electronics maintenance and troubleshooting
- Previous experience with: Cisco CCNA, Motorola tetra, Lutron, MS Servers, VMware, Veeam, Kerio, peplink, fortigate, OnniyonCompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certifications, not required, but highly desirable
- Willing to assist engineering team as needed
- Reports to the Chief Engineer
Qualifications Required:
- STCW Fully Updated with PDSD
- Computer Network / IT Certifications - Role is Heavily IT focused
- Strong technical / IT background
- ENG 1 - Seafarers Medical Certificate
- Schengen Visa (if applicable)
- B1/B2
Prefered:
- 3 - 5 Years of Experience
- MCA Electro Technical Rating III/7
- MCA High Voltage Management
- MCA AEC (Approved Engine Course)
- Maritime Cyber Risk Awareness
