Summary
We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 55m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and professionalism. As the vessel's Captain, you will oversee the crew, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic yachting environment, providing a seamless experience for clients during their stay onboard. This is a single season vessel that runs back-to-back charter through the season, wintering in Italy or Spain.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Captain on motor yachts of similar size (55m+), ideally within the 56m - 60m range
- Proven track record in both private and charter yacht operations
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety and security procedures
- Excellent leadership and crew management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Master 3000GT and valid supporting documents
Package:
- Salary: €13,000 - 14,000 pcm
- Leave: 60 days paid leave per year
- Itinerary: Mediterranean
