Summary

Burgess Recruitment is urgently seeking a Temporary Chef for a 50m private/charter motor yacht to complete the season.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced yacht chef or sous chef with previous sole chef experience, ready to step into a well-run vessel for the final stretch of a busy Mediterranean season.

Requirements:

  • Strong culinary background with the ability to deliver high-quality, well-presented meals for owners and occasional guests
  • Confident provisioning in the Med and working independently in the galley
  • Comfortable catering for various dietary preferences and offering variety over longer trips
  • Good understanding of food safety and galley hygiene standards
  • Positive, can-do attitude with flexibility and excellent communication
  • Previous yachting experience as a sole or head chef on similar-sized vessels preferred

Start date: ASAP

Location: France

Salary: EUR 7000-9000 DOE

Contract: Temporary – through end of the season
