Summary

Position: Captain – 100'-110' Motor Yacht (U.S. Flagged)

Location: Fort Lauderdale (Refit) → Palm Beach (Home Dock)

Start Date: 8th September (flexible for the right candidate)

We are seeking a Captain for a 100–110ft U.S.-flagged private motor yacht currently undergoing a change of ownership. The new Captain will join during a 5-month yard/refit period in Fort Lauderdale. After refit, the yacht will relocate to its home dock in Palm Beach.

Program Overview:

• Currently private, with charter potential under discussion (to keep crew engaged, not yet confirmed)
• Light use: approx. 5 days of owner use per month
• Day and evening cruises, occasional Bahamas trips
• Operates with 4–5 crew (4 full-time), with team to be built around the selected Captain

Candidate Profile:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• USCG 200 Ton license required (minimum)
• Strong interest and competency in engine room oversight is essential
• Looking for a long-term commitment
• Professional, polished, and hospitality-minded
• Will work closely with a supportive shore-based management team
• Owner is kind, generous, and supportive of career growth—keen to see the Captain advance tickets over time

Salary:

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
