Bosun – Private 55m Motor Yacht (Foreign Flag)

A private 55m motor yacht is seeking an experienced and motivated male Bosun to join a healthy, active crew. The ideal candidate will have prior Bosun experience on similar-sized vessels (50m+), strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to deck operations.
You’ll work closely with the Chief Officer and lead two deckhands. Responsibilities include managing exterior maintenance, washdowns, inventories, and equipment, as well as assisting with towing and tender operations. You will be required to lead a Watch during passages.
Requirements:
· Proven Bosun experience on 50m+ yachts
· Yachtmaster / Master of Yachts / USCG equivalent
· STCW, ENG1, PDSD
· B1/B2 visa in hand
· OOW modules a plus
· Excellent tender handling and deck maintenance skills
· Strong organizational ability
· Fluent English
· Male only
· No visible tattoos
· Non-smoker
· No couples
· No drama — seeking a mature, team-oriented crew member
· All certificates, visas, and passports must be valid for at least 12 months

The vessel is run to high standards with owners who enjoy traveling with the yacht and spending time at anchorages and in a variety of ports. The program is relaxed yet professional, with a focus on quality cruising over fast-paced guest turnover. The crew is tight-knit, active, and career-focused.
MLC-compliant contract. Salary $4,500+ depending on experience.
