Summary
Reiya Group is seeking a hands-on and motivated Engineer to join a 30m+ Support Vessel that’s part of a respected fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player looking to grow their technical skills across departments and gain exposure to fleet operations.
The Role:As Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the vessel’s technical operations, working closely with an energetic crew. You’ll also be expected to lend a hand across departments as needed - this is a highly team-oriented vessel where flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all engineering operations, including daily checks, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Assist with tender launching and large crane operations (preferred)
- Support technical tasks across the wider fleet as opportunities arise
- Maintain detailed records of engine room logs, inventories, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all systems remain in top working order for vessel support functions
- Take a hands-on approach to repairs and troubleshooting, working closely with other departments when required
- Uphold high safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times
Requirements:
- Y4 ticket (minimum), or AEC 2 with strong experience on similar-sized or larger vessels
- Strong team mentality and willingness to assist beyond the engine room
- Proven track record of reliability, attention to detail, and positive crew dynamics
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Schengen visa if applicable
Additional Details:
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Leave: 60 days
- Bonus: 13-month performance-based bonus
