Summary
Seeking an experienced Navigational Officer for a 67m Newly Built Motor yacht.
Minimum requirements:
- Chief Mate 3000gt
- ENG - 1 or equivalent
- All basic and refresher STCW Certs
- Proven ISM experience
- Extensive Tender driving skills
- Very good seamanship
- Very safety conscious
- Proven track record on similar or larger sized vessels
- Sound Computer literacy skills
- Team player
Highly desirable:
- New build experience
- OOW Unlimited / Chief Mate unlimited
- Good watersports experience
- Sense of Humor
This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven individual, with a longer term plan for the Industry, strong work ethic, high energy levels, who is eager to prove themselves.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of ISM - completing RA's, writing SOP's, completing permits to work and and all other safety related paperwork.
Experience with completing Port Clearance documentation / Garbage (MARPOL) etc is desirable.
You will be very comfortable being in charge of a Navigational watch, undertaking all Bridge procedures with proven Passage Planning experience. (FURUNO)
