We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join the engineering team of a prestigious 120+ meter private motor yacht, based in the Mediterranean.
Position Details:
Job Title: ETO / Electrician
Location: Mediterranean-based
Joining date: TBC (interviews started)
Salary: €5,500/month
Leave: Time-for-Time (183 days rotation)
Flight: Annual flight per rotation
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- ETO CoC - Preferable III/6 endorsement
- Valid STCW Certificates:
- A-VI/1-1 Personal Survival Techniques
- A-VI/1-2 Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
- A-VI/1-3 Elementary First Aid
- A-VI/1-4 Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
- PST, Designated Security Duties
- Valid ENG1 Medical
- Minimum 3+ years seagoing experience as an Electrician (yacht or commercial)
- Proficient in ENEM (Electronic Navigation Equipment Maintenance)
- Skilled in GMDSS maintenance and diagnostics
- Valid Schengen Visa if required
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Chief Electrician and Chief Engineer
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of all electrical systems onboard
- Ensure full operational readiness of all electronic and navigation systems
- Carry out daily checks and troubleshoot equipment in line with Chief Engineer’s directives
- Maintain high safety, technical, and cleanliness standards in all ETO responsibilities
