Summary
Position: CHIEF OFFICER/ Junior CAPTAIN - MI350 Master +
Ideally a Master 500gt. We will consider CM3000 with:
200 GT Master of yachts or greater. Must have completed 3 years’ service on vessel > 15 meters, 1 year of which must be aboard a vessel > 200 tons in the position as Master or Mate.
Applicants need to have:
- All parts of basic STCW
- OOW Navigation and Radar with ARAP (IAMI pass certificate)
- General Ships Knowledge (IAMI pass certificate)
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB)
- Proficiency in Medical First Aid
- Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) – 40 hour course
- Bridge Resource Management (BRM)
- Human Element Leadership and Management (HELM – Operational or Management Level)
An approved physical examination within the last two years. National ID document. Marshall Islands seafarers ID book.
PLEASE NOTE: Proof of the above must be obtained before candidates can sign up for the M.I 350GT Master license/endorsement.

Requirements:

- Solid history of crew management
- Hands on DECK
VISA: B1/B2 visa (minimum 1 year) , Schengen for Europe as needed.
Background check and drug testing may apply.
Responsibilities: Chief Officer duties. Hands on Deck, Management, good communicator, great leadership skills.
Job Specifics: CHIEF Officer / Jr. Captain - well organized, flexible, able to be a leader, great verifiable references, proven longevity. Large shared cabin.
Owners have properties in the Med so it will spend a lot of time there. The boat is currently in they yard in S. Florida and aiming to be ready end of July. Heavy Med summer use - private and quiet winter.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process. Eventually a rotation will be discussed.
