An ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family is seeking a refined, experienced Private Chef — ideally with a background in luxury yachts or high-end estates — for their stunning residence on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, approximately one hour from Boston.
This is a collaborative, professional household, offering the Chef a chance to focus fully on culinary excellence, supported by a Property Manager, Executive Assistant, Greenhouse Manager, Livestock Manager & Household staff.
Core Responsibilities
- Weekly menu planning in coordination with the Principal and household team
- Preparation of fresh, flavorful, and health-conscious meals
- Daily dinner service + prep for breakfast and lunch as needed
- Weekend prep of staple items for the family
- Cooking for occasional events (e.g., family BBQs, holiday gatherings)
- Setting and clearing tables; post-meal kitchen clean-up
- Maintain a spotless, well-organized kitchen
- Collaborate with estate staff to incorporate seasonal greenhouse produce and estate-raised proteins
- Create menus aligned with dietary needs and culinary preferences of the family
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Head or Sole Chef in UHNW households or aboard private yachts
- Strong portfolio in global cuisines and wellness-focused meals
- Culinary degree or formal chef training preferred
- Impeccable kitchen hygiene knowledge (FIFO, HACCP, etc.)
- Exceptionally organized, clean, and detail-oriented
- Discreet, respectful, and comfortable working in a quiet private environment
- Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in kitchen operations
- Flexible to adapt to shifting household routines or schedules
- Non-smoker, with a long-term mindset (seeking a stable, multi-year commitment)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $115,000+ (DOE)
