A gracious ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family is seeking a professional, service-minded House Manager / Steward to support the smooth daily operations of their beautiful private residence on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, approximately one hour from Boston.
This is a collaborative, well-staffed estate with an established team including a Chef, Executive Assistant, Greenhouse Manager, Livestock Manager, and Housekeepers. The House Manager will focus on maintaining the highest standards of service and organization inside the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily hands-on support to Principals, ensuring the home runs smoothly
- Maintain household inventories; shop for groceries and household essentials
- Provide wardrobe care and assist with personal laundry
- Run local errands (dry cleaning, returns, pharmacy pickups, etc.)
- Assist the Private Chef with table service and meal prep as needed
- Receive and organize all deliveries, packages, and home supplies
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to uphold a pristine and well-organized home
- Coordinate vendor visits, household maintenance, and service providers
- Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a high-end private home or Chief Stewardess experience on luxury yachts (50m+)
- Meticulously organized, polished, and detail-oriented
- Calm, intuitive, and discreet with a deep understanding of household service
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable in a structured, quiet, and refined household environment
- Strong communicator with excellent time management skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Looking for a long-term, stable role (not a short-term contract)
- Non-smoker; must be eligible to work in the U.S. (US Citizen/Greencard holder)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $115,000+ DOE
