Chief Officer/1st Mate in France

Position: 1st Officer - 2/2 ROTATION paid on and off 

**An excellent opportunity for an OOW stepping up. Newer vessel and developing a charter program. 

Yacht: around 50m Motor- Private/ Charter

License: OOW 3000gt +  

Requirements: Previous experience as a 1st officer and ideally some charter experience

STCW + refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

High standard 

Well-spoken and clear communications

Well-presented

Team leader and motivator

Multiple languages a plus (Spanish, French...) 

Water sport enthusiast

 

VISA: B1/B2 visa (min. 1 year), Schengen if needed. Valid passport (min. 1 year). 

Background check and drug testing may apply. 

Responsibilities: Full Deck/Bridge responsibilities. Running a smooth operation. Captain's right hand.

 

Job Specifics: Charter and owners use. 

Very active job. Lots of time on deck. 

Must be very competent tender driver , water sports and a good team motivator. 

 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. 13th month bonus plus longevity incentives. 

Even split between all crew of any gratuity received. - This is a new charter program so still developing.  

Package: To be finalized during interview process. Standard SEA. 2/2 Rotation
