Reiya Group is in the market for a 3rd Officer to join an 80m+ private/charter yacht with a dual season itinerary.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Officer of the Watch to step into a key position onboard a high-profile vessel renowned for its dynamic program, where the role offers a strong balance of hands-on deck operations and bridge responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee deck operations during guest trips, including water sports coordination, tender driving, mooring, anchoring, and general deck maintenance
- Assist the Chief Officer with ISM/ISPS duties, safety drills, and bridge admin
- Take charge of navigational watchkeeping duties during passages and crossings
- Manage deck crew rotations and task delegation when on deck
- Support guest logistics, including embarkation/disembarkation and shore-side activities
- Maintain bridge equipment and navigational charts to the highest standards
- Liaise with the bridge and interior departments to ensure seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- OOW <3000GT ticket
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role on 60m+ yachts
- Strong watchkeeping and navigational skills
- Solid leadership qualities and experience managing junior deck crew
- Proficient in all deck operations, including crane and tender handling
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and compliance
- Confident, professional demeanour with a guest-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
