We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mate to join 36m private motor yacht. Very nice owners, family boat.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven, responsible, and capable of working independently without the need for micromanagement.
You will be the sole deck officer onboard, with operational support from the Captain and Engineer as needed. A Yacht master certification is preferred but not essential if experience is equivalent.
Key Requirements:
- Solid experience in similar roles on private or charter yachts
- Confident handling of deck duties, mooring, tender ops, and daily routines
- Proactive, professional, and discreet with a hands-on attitude
- Strong collaboration with the Captain and the rest of the crew
Bonus Skills (not required but appreciated):
- Watersports: snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc.
- Comfortable engaging with guests and working within a tight-knit team
