EXPERIENCED THIRD CHEF 90M+ BUSY CHARTER MY
We are looking for a talented Third Chef with fine dining experience to join an 90m+ busy charter MY that will be spending the summer in Europe.
Details:
- The desired candidate will be culinary trained and/or have a past working in high-end restaurants and existing experience onboard yachts. This role will be very busy as the summer is fully booked with charters so you must be able to work independently. You will be running the crew section of the galley by yourself and so it's important that you are happy with the day to day running of things from ordering, SOPs, inventories and cooking for the team.
- Ideally you will have worked on 80m+ vessels before, charter experience is also desired.
- We are looking for someone who has a creative side and will keep the crew really well fed as there is a high standard of crew food onboard. There are 30+ crewmembers onboard so you must be happy cooking for similar numbers.
- If you are an organised and efficient Chef, there will also be opportunities to assist with guest food and plating. The Head Chefs are supportive of personal development and really talented so you will be working under top rated individuals.
- There are additionally 2 x rotational strong Sous Chefs who have built good longevity onboard and know the program well.
On offer:
- Start date: ASAP, must be by the end of this week (6th of June)
- Salary: DOE but competitive for the role.
