Summary
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Engineer/Engine Mechanic to take responsibility for the maintenance and smooth operation of a 25m yacht based in Asia.
The ideal candidate will be someone who genuinely enjoys working with engines and mechanical systems and takes pride in keeping them running at their best. You should be proficient in maintaining and repairing engines, gearboxes, and generators, and preferably have some electrical knowledge. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential. This is an older vessel powered by first-generation electronic MTU engines.
Crew work on 11-month contracts, live onboard, and senior roles receive one paid home leave during the contract. The work schedule is a 5-day work week.
Fluency in English is required.
