Requirements:

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport (valid minimum 1 year)

Bonus: GMDSS, Adv. Fire Fighting, SSO

VISA: B1/B2 visa, - minimum 1 year. Schengen if needed for Caribbean. 

Responsibilities: First Mate duties. Hands on deck and assisting on Bridge. Managing bosun, deck and captain's right hand.  

Vessel is Charter/Private - up to 10 weeks of charter and an equal amount of Owner Trips. Summer itinerary Bahamas. Winter itinerary is to cruise the Bahamas and the Caribbean.  

Looking for a professional that is responsible, mature, hard working and a great team player who is willing to go the extra mile.  

Vessel is based in South Florida. 

Salary range: Very good - Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience 

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process. 

Commercial Registered Yacht: 499gt - commercial registered

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
